Black Friday Gaming Laptop Deals :: There are many reasons to shop online on Black Friday laptop deals. One of the biggest pros is that you don’t have to wait in line in the typically cold November weather. Many people wait for days, skipping Thanksgiving celebration with family, just to save a few hundred bucks. And even if you’re the first in line, most high-ticket items now have a purchase limit. For some it’s probably the thrill that keeps them going, but why do that when you can get great deals online as well, at the comfort of your own home?

Most online stores now have massive Black Friday campaigns, and since laptops are hot every year, you can expect lots of Black Friday laptop deals. Some stores start running deals on Monday of Thanksgiving week, not even waiting until Black Friday to roll around. For others, deals start at midnight Friday, right after you nap from that awesome Thanksgiving meal. All you need is a fast computer and internet connection to participate!
Black Friday Laptop Deals | What stores have the best deals?
Amazon.com is my favorite site for Black Friday laptop deals. They don’t run just laptops, but pretty much everything. They have new deals popping up every few hours starting on the 23rd, and for every deal, there’s a nice little bar showing how many % have been sold. You’d be surprised how fast bars for some of the deals fill up, but if you’re a fast clicker and don’t “hover” or sit on the fence for too long, you should have no problems getting the deals you want.
Some other great stores to shop at online for laptops are Tiger Direct, HP, Dell, J&R, and websites for popular offline retailers such as Best Buy and Fry’s Electronics. You’ll have to like the brands offered on some of these websites (HP, Dell, etc.), though.
Black Friday Laptop Deals | Where can I find these awesome deals?
As we get closer to Black Friday, I’ll be posting top Black Friday laptop deals from all over the web. I love to browse deal forums and I’ll be sure to relay the best ones to you, my readers. However, I’m going to stick to online deals, since that’s my specialty. I’ll be celebrating the Thanksgiving holidays with my family and friends, so I won’t be standing in line. I hate the cold, after all.
The only thing that’s annoying about online shopping, in my opinion, is the wait. Even though I have an Amazon Prime membership, I’m still looking at a 2-day delivery time, which is hard sometimes!
But overall I think it’s well worth it with the money I save. Most states don’t have to pay taxes when shopping online. And for Amazon, if I really wanted something bad enough, it’s only $3.99 for overnight shipping.
You really can’t beat that. So I’ll be focusing on Amazon deals this Black Friday for obvious reasons.
Personally, I’m anxiously awaiting a new ASUS ultraportable laptop to replace my current one, which has slowed to a crawl. Wish me luck!

Black Friday Laptop Deals are some of the most talked about topics around this time of the year. They are often in the front pages of deals by online and offline retailers alike. For some reason, laptops and other electronics top the most wanted list every Black Friday, possibly because it’s a high ticket item and because there’re a lot of discounts for them.
There are various types of laptops you can get deals for on Black Friday. Here is an incomplete list:
[su_highlight][su_list icon=”icon: check-square-o” icon_color=”#303f42″]
- Traditional laptops (14-16 inches, normal weight)
- Netbooks (10 inches or so, very cheap, relatively light weight)
- Ultraportable laptops (11-13 inches, lightweight)
- Desktop replacements (17-19 inches, heavy weight, expensive)
(I list these by themselves because they’re premium and in a class by themselves. I don’t mean that I prefer Macs over PC’s. In fact, just the opposite, but you know what I mean.)
Black Friday Laptop Deals | What type(s) of computers are likely to be listed on Black Friday deals?
From experience, I can tell you that Macs are rarely on the list of Black Friday deals. You can get better educational discounts, even. Again, Macs are considered premium computers and they sell a brand name. I can only assume that their customer base is less concerned about price. Plus, offering too many discounts will lower the overall value of the brand name.
Most Black Friday laptop deals consist of traditional laptops and netbooks. These are marked down the most often, usually to only a few hundred dollars. This is because there is a larger market for these two types of laptops, and Black Friday laptop deals tend to appeal to general shoppers. Ultraportable laptops are pretty new, and there are marked up more due to their extremely light weight. Most of them also don’t come with an optical drive, which can be an issue for some consumers. They are, however, the laptop of choice for most professionals on the go. So as they become more and more popular, there will undoubtedly be Black Friday deals for them.
As for desktop replacements and gaming laptops, which is a sub-niche of this category, you won’t see too many of these because they are already very expensive, and even with discounts on Black Friday, they’ll still be relatively expensive. Black Friday deal seekers want amazing deals, and understandably so because they are often waiting out in the cold for hours or even days. They want $200-300 laptops, not $700 laptops even if the original price was $1,200 or something. Of course, this is just an example and isn’t meant to be indicative of actual deals.
Black Friday Laptop Deals | Which stores have the best laptop deals?
So you are going to wait in line at a store, but not sure which one to go? Well, high tech/electronics stores definitely have the best Black Friday laptop deals. These stores are Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry’s Electronics, CompUSA, MicroCenter, J&R, H H Gregg, and even Walmart or Target. Not all of them are available in every city, and to choose one, you’ll want to wait and see each store’s Black Friday ads and go to the store that has what you want.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for Black Friday laptop deals in late November!
